Welcome to the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation (PSEF)! PSEF is an organization full of energetic and motivated individuals from engineering disciplines across the board. We are always looking to have fun while promoting Purdue Engineering to prospective students. We give tours, act on student panels, implement a high school design competition and reach out to over 3,000 high school students and families every year through the various Outreach programs. When these students decide to attend Purdue, we help them adjust to college life by mentoring them through the ENGR 104 class, planned and managed by PSEF.
PSEF has been such a monumental part of my life for the past three years that it is my honor to serve as the President for the next year. Heading into my final semesters in aerospace engineering, I have loved sharing my passion for Purdue, engineering, and life as a whole to visiting families. I grew up all across the Midwest, from Minnesota and Wisconsin to Illinois and Colorado. I have had two amazing internships and not only met awe inspiring people (like astronauts!) but learned a lot about life in general. I love to share these experiences while giving tours or answering questions on student panels. It's amazing how much college changes a person, and the main reason that I am the person I am today is because of the confidence and friendship that PSEF has awarded me.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to look at our website. There are seven teams within PSEF each with their own description of the programs they manage and their role within the organization. We would not be successful without the cohesiveness of all the teams working together.
If you are a prospective student, I encourage you to contact us with any questions that you may have. We will answer any question you want to ask ranging from campus life to engineering disciplines. If a student cannot provide an adequate answer, we will point you in the right direction to someone who can give you a more detailed response.
If you are currently a Purdue student, I encourage you to join PSEF. As I mentioned above, PSEF has given me more than I ever thought it would and has become such a crucial part of my life. We're always looking for outgoing and outstanding members!
Thanks for stopping by! If you have any general PSEF questions, feel free to contact the executive committee. Or if you have a question for a particular team or individual, all our members and a way of contacting them are provided on the "Members" page.
...and remember, BOILER UP!- Kathy Brumbaugh
